Review

I'm following Durand for a good while now and even got his debut album with a signature. Just remember, I'm from Germany and that's why I think it's kinda special. Back on topic, Durand is a humble soul and one of the most down-to-earth rappers there is. He takes responsibility for his past misdeeds and simply wants to put food on the table for himself and his family through his art. I never heard of Norad and his work before, but I'm impressed. I feel he is the same type of person and in my opinion that's why they both harmonize wonderfully on this project.

That both rappers are so down-to-earth is reflected in their lyrics. The songs are about trying to lead a better life and be prosper while not giving in to negativity. Durand and Norad are truly talented rappers which - in my opinion - are significantly better than what the mainstream media offers. The beats are full of feelings, gloomy and match the content of the songs. I truly felt their individual struggles.

Conclusion

Goodbye is a fascinating album. I truly enjoyed it from start to finish and my absolute favorite off of it is Original. The message is felt, the quality top-notch. I'll gladly recommend this album to anyone looking for quality Hip Hop / Rap albums and even shared it amongst my friends. These two truly raise the bar and I'm excited for their next offerings either as individual artists or together.
